2nd International Conference on Natural Products Utilization: from Plant to Pharmacy Shelf (ICNPU 2015)
Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am honored to invite you joining us at the 2nd International Conference on Natural Products Utilization: from Plant to Pharmacy Shelf (ICNPU 2015). The meeting will start on morning of the 14th October and will end up with a conference excursion on 17th October. ICNPU 2015 will attempt to cover the wide spectrum of application of plants with special emphasis on the sustainable use of natural products, emerging ‘-omics’ analytical platforms and recent developments in (ethno)pharmacology, molecular biology and biotechnology.
* World-renowned experts will address the latest developments in the field. Bharat B. Aggarwal, Тhe University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (USA), Richard A. Dixon, University of North Texas (USA), Alisdair R. Fernie, Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology (Germany) and Robert Verpoorte, Leiden University (The Netherlands) will give key-note lectures.
** As before (ICNPU-2013) we will negotiate publication of special issues with major international journals. Besides the review papers we plan an issue with original research articles. More information will follow on the ICNPU-2015 web site.
The conference will be held in Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. Plovdiv – the city of the seven hills – is a vibrant town, which history can be traced back as far as 4000 BC. In addition to the scientific program, rich social activities will be offered, including welcome reception, conference dinner, congress tour to historical monuments, besides the podium for informal meetings and discussions.
