IFBG team members took part in the Kick-Off Meeting of theErasmus+ Virtual Exchange Project: “VITAL – Virtual Innovation and Training for Advancing Faculty Leaders, Digital Competencies, and Research Excellence"

The VITAL project (ERASMUS-EDU-2025-VIRT-EXCH- 101253516) unites a consortium of six universities and research institutes from European Union and Eastern Partnership countries:

- INFOR ELEA (Italy);
- PETRE SHOTADZE TBILISI MEDICAL ACADEMY (Georgia);
- BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY (Georgia)
- INSTITUTE OF FOOD BIOTECHNOLOGY AND GENOMICS OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF UKRAINE (Ukraine)
- I. HORBACHEVSKY TERNOPIL NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (Ukraine);
The project is built around four strategic objectives:
- Enhancing career development through soft skills and academic leadership training tailored to early-career faculty;
- Strengthening digital competencies through digital and AI-integrated pedagogy;
- Advancing research and evidence-based faculty development by embedding peer mentorship, methodology workshops, and co- authorship opportunities;
- Reinforcing European values in institutional practices through policy integration and inclusive leadership frameworks.
